R'LYEH - CHAPTER FOUR

The House of the Old Ones Lady Garvel wandered through the mass of her followers, she wasn’t upset that the newcomers had fled she actually smiled non-believers meant more blood for the sacrifice and more strength to the Star Spawn. She approached the alter of her church “No fear my children, the power of the void shall grant us the thing we need to deal with these newcomers” she knelt down on the ground on the centre of the symbol and began chanting “Nog nyth'drnn ot r'luhhor!” Garvel held out her arms moving her hands in rotations as she continued to mutter the ancient words “Hup nog n'ghftnahh, uh'enythh ot n'ghftog, ph' ch'nglui'ahog nnn'drnogg ot syha'h uh'enythh ot Tindalos” she stopped chanting and everything fell silent, the congregation didn’t move they knew what was coming. Fort Haven Atrium There was no blood here only scattered papers and even a shoe laying on the floor, the atrium was a large round room with a rectangular planta in the centre with a round glass dome that was on the roof of the building to allow light to illuminate the room.   Planet: Theta 295 Vera Class Dropship [Descending Planet Side] The dropship shuddered violently as it began it’s fall through the planet’s atmosphere, Kara even though she was jostling about strapped to her seat, the lighting turned red and the sound of metal groaning and banging from the heat she felt calm and relaxed, this was something she had done hundreds of times on different planets. Although Theta 295 was not to be taken likely, it was a brutal place of jagged slanted peaks, battering winds and of course the highly acid rain all this was explained to her before she left Earth, why the hell they built a colony here Kara never knew.
