What's To Come Around The Campfire

Hey my Travellers and Fire Light Wanderers it's been a while but I'm currently working on the next campfire story titled Recon which is about a man on a lonely planet coping with his isolation, but I wanted to give you guys a glimpse of what's to come.

As you know Volume Two has already begun with the Titan Story Sky of Thunder which expands the world of Gigarrah and the Mega-Fauna Division, the rest of Volume Two will have run ins with Death, a robot just trying to survive and on a lighter note there will be a wedding...with a twist.

Passed Volume Two however is a mixture of wonderment, heartbreak and chaos with not only the coming of Volumes Three and Four but I'm working on a special project which I has been something that will be a twenty part short story event. The project is called TOMB KNIGHT (with capitals for emphasis) it's a horror story which is utterly bonkers and very, very dark but I've had so much fun creating it, it also has a link to a previous story that I've written but I'm not saying which.

So prep your marshmallows and your fleeces and remember that wonderful and terrible delights await in the flames, so stay tuned Travellers and Fire Light Wanderers.

R'lyeh: Story Dedication

With R'LYEH finally completed I wanted to write a personal post about how this came to be. This story of eldritch horror and madness is dedicated to my sister STEVIE , as kids we were explored many horror based films even if we hadn't reached the correct film rating just yet. I think I was about 9 or 10 when mum introduced me to the movies like Predator and Aliens , sex was no no but spines being ripped out of a man's back was totally fine, our dad introduced us to things more of the spooky nature like The Haunting , Whistle and I'll Come to You , The Woman in Black . Over decades my sister and I have wandered through the dark corridors of horror including sneaking me in to see Blade II when I was not 18 but my big sister managed to sneak me in with a denim jacket if I recall to make me look older, we've been expanding our library of our favourite movie that have creeped us out ranging from John Carpenter's The Fog all the way to James Wan's The Conjuring...

Blog Update

Hey Firelight Wanderers Everyone is going through rough times during this pandemic, so wanted to update on the Ember Lights blog, progress on the Compendium book is on hold due to being furloughed and that editors are expensive so will take much, much longer to save up. Also there was plans because of the book to make this blog private but with most stuck indoors I’m keeping this blog public for the time being. I’m unsure whether to post any future stories I’m still back and forth about showing anything from volume 2, but stay tuned and I will keep updates from camp fire coming.
