Blog Update

Hey Firelight Wanderers
Everyone is going through rough times during this pandemic, so wanted to update on the Ember Lights blog, progress on the Compendium book is on hold due to being furloughed and that editors are expensive so will take much, much longer to save up.
Also there was plans because of the book to make this blog private but with most stuck indoors I’m keeping this blog public for the time being. I’m unsure whether to post any future stories I’m still back and forth about showing anything from volume 2, but stay tuned and I will keep updates from camp fire coming.

Stay safe, wash your hands and follow the rules of the quarantine.

Hey Firelight Wanderers   Just a bit of an update haven’t been in the mood to write at the moment with work, increase in rent and bills, and all the shit that’s a been happening in the world my mental health took a right kick in the nuts a few weeks ago. However I’ve taken some time to refresh myself avoid the doom scrolling on Twitter and finally dusted of the keyboard of my laptop and ready to get back to it.

My Apologies

To all my weary travellers and firelight wanderers. I haven't been as active on my blog with my writing for a while and that is because several months ago my husband was diagnosed with a tumour in his brain, it's a benign one so he's ok but he is currently going through radiotherapy to help with its growth and to hopefully reduce the tumour's size. I am still and always will be 100% committed to The Ember Lights but I'm also 100% committed to my husband and his care and support comes first, over time I am doing story writing but in smaller increments. I look forward to you coming to the campfire and I promise more tales are coming. Much love to you all Martyn Sudlow-McKay P.S. REIGN (Preview)

PROLOGUE: Blood & Curses EGYPT, 4 th CENTURY The great city of Ahkhann was once the glimmering jewel of Egypt a capital of culture, literature and trading goods and was the home of the Pharaoh Re’hotpe, a great man loved by the people of his empire which he ruled for many years.
